What is the trigger for a new age? Is it random (with a 10-turn warning and between the bounds listed on the screen), or can I influence it by researching tech and/or culture in the next age?
I do know it is not triggered by the *first* person to research such as tech or civic...but is it based on researching n techs, or average tech, with a min and max time in case it is triggered too early (or too late) to help keep ages of reasonable duration?
