Troop Transports

Has anyone ever heard/found a way to transform a air or ground unit into a troop transport? I have been trying to adjust the rules.txt and other files to build a c-130 unit but it hasn't worked so far.

Why not just use the 'L' command and do an airlift?

I tried to create an air transport helocoter a year or so ago, but it didn't work. There's just something that the computer doesn't like about an air unit transporting troops. To get it to work, you need a patch of some kind, but I don't know of any dealing with our mutual problem.

Magnus, the airlift command is only useful for troop at a time and only with the airport improvement. I was thinking more along the lines of something like the naval transport.
