Trouble moving from Prince to Monarch

when you finish off one victim, WW drops to 0, same when you sue for peace. There is a 1 turn delay, that's all.
40 WW is something I had never seen. Whip away more pop ;)

I did switch back to slavery to do some whipping. Course, all the other civs were emancipated, so that gave me a new +8 unhappiness. I whiped and went back, but that was an expensive switch in terms of anarchy time.

going back to slavery when you're not spiritual is generally impossible.
Better to cash rush some theatres and temples and markets and forges...

I easily won my first Monarch/Normal/Warlords game before the patch with Peter. Since the patch I've been trying to play the Ottomans also at Monarch and keep failing. Well, the last position certainly didn't help as I had only one neighbor (no tech trading, only a couple of extorted techs), while the/an other continent has the research monster Mansa Musa. Needless to say I'm waaay behind in techs, but I'm still going to try to finish this by taking over my entire continent and cottaging all up.

That said, the GW -> Pyramids strategy I employed in that game really did seem overpowered and I'm kind of glad they nerfed it.

I just posted in another thread how I got kicked  in a similar configuration (Monarch level, patched warlords). A lot to unlearn and a another lot to learn.
