Is there a good TSL Earth map that's compatible with VP? I saw some mentions of people using YnAEMP maps, but I can't get them to work, or which one to use.
Here is a TSL 180x94 earth map for VP with historical resource and natural wonder placement. It is a .lua file so it can be played in multiplayer games as well

quick update: got the map to work (thx @Patee), but the game crashes either instantly or within the first 10 rounds. no other mods but VP installed, playing on minimum graphics settings on a very potent computer.. was worth a try though
@dpshw
I created this map with the civ5map to Lua tools a week ago and played several games with no crashes. I placed the map in Steam / steamapps / common / Sid Meier's Civilization V / Assets / Maps
I don't know if that makes any difference
Yeah, I've been using YNAEMP (v25, from steam) for quite a while now, and don't have any trouble just using default map settings. Often have played past 500 turns.
solution: i had to disabled ancient ruins as well as barbarians - now it's not crashing anymore ... but then again no barbs means no attila feasting on them in earlygame
Yeah, I believe I had been able to play TSL VP with Historic Resources and True Resource Placement without issue. Unless one defines the issue being that the resources aren't accurately placed (such as Ivory in the Great Plains of North America...)
