I'm thinking we're more likely to get a TSL Europe map, if not "out of the box," than with the Poland DLC. It almost feels like they picked some of the early release civs with this very purpose in mind. (I'm looking at you Scythia, Norway, and Poland.) Essentially, they chose civs that fill in a Europe map with almost perfect geographic balance:

England (Britain), France (Gaul), Spain (Iberia), Rome (Italy), Greece (Balkans & Aegean), Germany (W. Central), Norway (Scandinavia), Russia (N. East), Scythia (Ukraine), Poland (E. Central)

Furthermore, the city state selection helps to fill in some of the smaller gaps: Lisbon, Amsterdam & Brussels, Geneva, Stockholm, Vilnius, Preslav, Hattusa & Carthage (A Europe map would cartographically require some of Anatolia and North Africa.)

I'll also bet the unknown city states include Dublin and/or Budapest.

I'd love that, Europe TSL is one of my favorite maps!

Me too! Something about the two inland seas and the more restricted west vs. the open plains of the east creates fun dynamics. It would certainly make me feel better about their civ choices too.

On an Earth TSL post, someone tilted the Europe region to fit the Middle East and India into one area. It appears I cannot attach the image to this thread since I already included it another. :( I thought it would be neat to share.

I'll have to find it. An expanded Europe map though leaves way too much empty space in the east. Especially without the Persians and Mongols.
