Can anyone confirm whether or not Live/Fire Tuner is updated upon purchasing Gathering Storm?

Mainly curious about the old panels still being functional. Also if any new panels for the new GS mechanics are added.

(Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place. Didn't see any mention with forum search.)

There are a few new panels in GS e.g. Storms, RandomEvents, Territories, Forge, LandmarkVisualizer.
Old panels - well, it depends on your usage of Lua. Xpacs seem to be mostly backward compatible however there were singular cases when a function was removed (rare however). I have a few of my own panels and they all work ok.

Appreciate your quick reply. I guess in hind site it was a dumb question to ask if the devs updated the tools they use to update the game..

The Fire Tuner panel "City" has a new option - Spoof City Civilization. It lists every major and minor civilization that can possibly be selected for the game. Does anyone know how this works. I tried clicking on an existing CS and then choosing one from that list that I wanted but nothing happened.

Anyone got an update for the Tuner to allow Terrain Placement to work again? Checked this thread but the solutions there don't work for me (although I no longer have the "immediate uncheck" problem when clicking Terrain Placement Enabled). Nothing in the Worldbuilder or WorldbuilderCity tabs have any effect on my game state, in either Strategic or 3D view, with or without saving.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Terrain placement works fine on my CIV VI GS version. You know there are two versions of FT World Builder and Unit right? The revised version works but you need to save the game, exit and restart for WB to work correctly. I don't remember where I got the revised versions but the dates are Feb/Mar 2017 and the download file is titled
FireTuner_Panels.

Just tested everything again. I have the two Feb/Mar 2017 files (from the thread I linked), and they're in the FireTuner directory AND the Debug directory, just to be safe. I started FireTuner, then Civ6. I loaded my game, went into Strategic view, clicked "Terrain Placement Enabled," clicked "Grass," and then clicked a mountain tile owned by one of my cities. I also clicked one outside of any city's control, just as a secondary test.

No change.

EDIT: FWIW, I also tried running "TerrainBuilder.AnalyzeChokepoints()" (no quotes) in the GameCore_Tuner LUA console. No change.

Also tried clicking (without seeing any change in Strategic View) and then saving/reloading. No change.

You are using the modified WorldBuilder panel in FT. I have both WB panels loaded so I make sure to use the modified panel. They should be in your Debug folder. Otherwise, I have no idea why changing the terrain isn't working in GS. Also, have you seen the new mod "Cheat Map editor"?
