Tupi Units pack

Hey CivArmy, these are great, but some like the Guayacuru are too small. Maybe it's just Civ3Flic, but they're very small.

I agree, I must re-do some units with fw corrections, the sizes of Guayacuru needs work to be fixed, it is little small them other units. It is not hard to b done and I'll do it soon.

I've just seen the settler and worker - thank-you for doing those!! I am extremely grateful :goodjob: !!.

Thanks friend! If u have more request, do not forget to post.

I'm redoing some units of this pack, like this one.

Check the first posts to see the upgrates :)

The original Zarabataneiro was better

I'm redoing this unit pack, check the page 1 to see the news :) The units that I already re-did:
- Tamoio
- Guayacuru
- Piroga
- Zarabataneiro
- Ka'amondosara
- Pokababá

Units left (ready next days or hours :) ):
- Tupi settler
- Tupi worker
- Fantasy Tupi unit that tame the oncelot

Hey CivArmy! Its good you decided to improve your tupi units, since im using your tupi civ in my mod, i do need tupi units since the north american indian units dont fit very well with the tupi civilization.
I think the new versions look better, but the animations need some work, they happen too fast, should be more detailed, you understand, we should see the arms of the tamoio moving to put the bow in position and shooting the arrow. But you're getting better! Keep it up! :)

thanks for enjoying :) ! Remember, some animations of the preview have worst resolution (result of *.gif change) and sometimes different speed of the ones in game :) This differences of speed in previews r my errors  (I didn't config the correct speed in previews).

You're quite right! It looks better when previewed in animation shop. But here's an idea for you, your tamoio's attack animation has 8 frames for each direction, could you make a new animation using 16 frames? Dont know if that will make it any different, not a unit maker.

I added yesterday the settler and the worker and minutes ago the Oncelot Tame guy. I can re-do the animation of the Tamoio (archer), but I don't think add more frames would solve the problem :) I'll remove the feets slide

SoG: if I can I could do a attack animation 2, but it'd be more work to be done. I think maybe 10 units or less in game has 2 attack animations

Wow, so many!! How do you find the time to do it all?

I did this Tamoio in 30 minutes, I use good softwares, models and got some tips in 11 mounths of work of extra artworks for Civ3 :) Well, next month will be 1 years of CivArmy

Yea, that new Tamoio is much better!! Just have a sugestion, the left foot animation is very cool, but its a bit strange seeing the guy keep moving the foot every time he shoots an arrow, so maybe this is a good unit to do a second attack animation, so he would move the foot in the first, then keep shooting arrows and reloading ;) in the second :)
But well done! If you could make similiar improvements to the warrior and horseman units since im also using those in my mod, and im missing a spearman for the tupi :)

these are great units but ive noticed one thing about the Piroga.

The arrows are litterally shooting out of nowhere. It would be cool to see the people in the boat shooting the arrows.

But other than that :goodjob: i love them.

The way around that is to use the Piroga as an A/D/M = 0/0/whatever, but make it dead cheap. Up against a Galley or whatever it would make far more sense for the guys in the canoe to flee, or just die, than fight and maybe win.
