Turn 200-209

Give them hell! :ar15:

Alrighty then lets keep our fingers crossed and maybe I'll have some good news to post next turn.

In the mean time this turn was 'meh'. Off Powderton; our frigate sank their frigate but their galleon sank our caravel.

Whoops. That sure didn't work. They captured Powderton and Wheelville, killed most of our stack that was going to take Chowderton, and are begining to move toward Polynesia.

I'll retake Wheelville and reinforce Ploughland as well as possible.

Damn, well, at least they didn't raze our beautiful cities.

Oh, well. It was worth a try. Is there any hope left at all now? Or should we devote the troops solely to damaging Epsilon and "scorching the earth"?

Scorched earth would probably be our best strategy now. When we recapture Wheelville we can raze it.

EDIT: So brilliant I had to post it twice.

We retook Wheelville but razing wasn't an option. We may loose it next turn but if so we may be able to kill many of their units in a counter attack.

We hardly have the time or units to scorch anything althought I'll keep an eye open for strategic roads. Anyway killing them is more fun than pillage our own stuff.

We took two infantry and a galleon and only lost a single cat, but last turn we lost almost 20 units to their 3.

They razed Ploughland and Wheelville will be hit very hard next turn. They have 5 canons so I'm not sure there is much we can do to save it. They will start bombarding Polynesia too, but don't have enough forces in that area yet to take it.

Counter attacks have upset Epsilonian plans for Polynesia and Medina, but despite favorable odds we lost almost every battle at Wheelville where it really counts.

We killed their infantry at Polynesia and should be able to take their cannons next turn. We then have a chance to retake Port Tropicanna.

We are still holding on to Wheelville but once their stack heals well be in trouble.

Do we still have any options with regards to strategy, or is it purely a game of luck now?

I figure we should all pray to the RNG-god.

They also have far more units and far more mobility. I only see two galleons right now so the rest are all picking up reinforcments I guess.

Killercane suggested in the turn tracker that they would be willing to call the game if the other teams agree. I have no problem with that, but instead suggest that we ask Epsilon to hurry up and win it. That way they can get it in their hall of fame and get the end of game summary.

We could disband all our units and let them capture our cities for the domination win, I suppose we can also make peace and gift them, or we can ask if its faster for them to build the UN.

If the team votes to fight on I'm more than happy to continue playing.

Robboo want the "Quit or finish the game" issue decided by UN reps and hast started a poll. Do we still have a UN rep or should we hold an election? :)

Who is our UN rep?

I am our UN rep (it says so in the team information thread). :) That doesn't mean we shouldn't vote about what I'm going to post in the official thread, though.

As per the discussion in the Epsilon communication thread it looks like the team votes to play on.

Wheelville is gone. We have 6 infantry, 2 cavalry, 4 axmen and an archer. It might be enough to take Port Tropicana back in 2 turns but that will only be temporary.

Would it really be worth it to retake Port Tropicana then? I'd feel more inclined to defend what little we have left.

As per the discussion in the Epsilon communication thread it looks like the team votes to play on.
That seems to be our decision, then.
