Nothing happened this turn. Moved our JT further east and MMed a bit. I forgot to rename our Curraghs, and we can soon see the entire coastline of our island.

CFC Mainland. Notice the Settler coming out next turn. Where do we want it? I suppose we need to place it somewhere north of TF to get more plains within that citys reach. Fanatazuma will build another Settler soon to settle eastwards I hope, so it doesn't need to go there.

Since we still have the Palace going in TF, I would send that Settler 1 tile NW of the northernmost Ivory(hope that makes sense.....). Then I would send 2 workers to mine those "Phants and then join the city. That should give us a substantial production boost.

Can't wait to pop those 2 huts! :D

Very wise suggestion. I would also try to add JT escort to these units just in case...

Also, our capital is a very nice warrior/worker factory running at 5 spt. Once it grows over size 4 it can build a worker.

Also, Zoi needs a granary. It would greatly boost the city growth and hence productivity.

I think Zoi can grow fast enough right now. It's the production I'd like to increase. Though the granary could help if we let Zoi grow bigger. But the price of a Granary and extra MPs is to much instead of building another Settler IMO.

I tile NW of the northernmost Elephant sounds good to me. If no-one objects, I'll send our Settler there next turn.

Oh, and Fanatazuma is MMed for 5 shields and extra food atm. We can easily boost production to six or seven shields. And I would like Fanatazuma to produce a Settler after another military unit or two.

The Settler? Defenitly Five clicks NW of Thunder Falls, on the hill. Good Position for a Naval Base. .right on the Cost but easily defensiable. Seems to be some Flood plains right there, too. Also, it won't cramp Thunder falls.

That is to far out IMO, we need a city close to TF to get access to the plains.

Another thing though, I would like to have mayors for our cities. Someone who can look specially after one city and make sure it is running optimal. And maybe design build queues etc. Much like the Governors of the SPDG.

What do people think of this? And will we have enough people for this (4 active citisens)?

Don't know about the governors, it is too early in the game, may be in 20 turns or so. Just make more units. We need not only cities but military as well. For MP and for protection and for build-up for future wars.

I didn't mean for us to start with governors, as we have only 4 cities.
What I would like is mayors who can look specialy after one city.

When can we have a unit on the island for the hut popping? I can't wait neither.

We have to take them with special units right in order to get slaves?

And shouldn't we have a vote for the next city location?

We're going for Map Making as fast as possible so we can start sending Settlers and JTs over. :)

If anyone objects to the tile NW of the northernmost elephant then please start a poll. Otherwise I think it is a good place for a city and are ready to send the Settler there.

I like mayors but , alas, I am not trained in the finer art of managing workers or citizens in cities. I usually just put my workers on automatic and my citizens in cities on automatic too.
