I apologize for my extended absence during this most turbulent of times. While I "officially" was unavoidably detained with meetings and other work related tasks. I "unofficially" was meeting with our agents and spies in hopes of finding a way to turn the tide of this conflict.

The small unit I met up with on my trip was the 2nd team in Red group, coded R-2. Those agents were successful in obtaining some information, but at a heavy price. I only hope that the information from that little R-2 unit was worth it.

Umm... 40J, Apolyton might not accept. It is a complicated issue. Apolyton wants to get GCA's map, but GCA said they cannot trade it after they have it. So the EXACT same turn they are gifted GCA's map, they are going to gift us their map. We were suppose to have already received the written agreement with exact details but MasterZen has been slow.

Is the Spearman built in Jiang Mapi going in a Spear/Settler combo to the northern Iron? I hope so, because we need that Iron ASAP.

Also, any news from CDG? How far are their Immortals from GCA's capitol?(and what's the name of GCA capitol?)

Fier, it would be stupid to settle that iron right now. We need to concentrate on defending what we have at the moment. As soon as Elucidia attacks and their forces start moving away, then we can settle the iron.

I think I'm finally starting to understand the necessity of gifting maps now....

Whether or not they accept the deal is inconsequential. I just thought it best we put the offer out there. If they accept, fine. If not, no harm done. As it turns out, if they do not accept the trade, then I plan on resubmitting the offer sans maps, and letting that part of the deal work out in its distorted, convoluted way.

Also, I am somewhat eager to obtain their map, because I'm not fully trusting Elucida at this point. When the subject of a map trade with Apolyton came up during a chat with Kentonio and MRex of Elucida, they were somewhat, shall we say, less than enthusiastic about us obtaining their map. So my question is, unless they have something to hide from us, why would they be concerned about us getting APO's map?

FortyJ, I must ask, what's with the bold pink-purple flamboyant colors in the domestic menu... its kinda, well you know, hard to read (and I meant that quite literally).

I mean, if you like it a lot its cool... I mean, using non-sn00py graphics makes up for it and all

I'm not really sure why those colors are coming out that way. It's been doing that ever since I upgraded to my new laptop. It's may be caused by WinXP Pro, but more likely by my video card - it's designed more for the high-end graphics apps (CAD, etc), not really for games. I'm sorry if they bother you.
