Just discovered a Portuguese workboat and made contact with Team Cavalieros. I declared war immediately as planned. Bear also appeared S of warrior 1. Nothing in turn log.

:science:SANCTA have teched (+19score, with no pop gain). They could have teched AH as Av soldiers is up 2000.

We are now #1 on GNP after rival best dropped from 34 to 27. What is this drop from? Crop yield and Mfg goods stats have stayed the same. Surely part of this is that they are now teching a tech with no pre-reqs, but that doesn't cover all of it! (discuss this more elsewhere)
