Turn 72 was given wings and will never return. You spend a turnset on it each and, already, it goes away. I suspect we'll have a 73rd turn though, since that's generally how numbers work. Now onto the nuts for them to find out.
 
Received turn 72 with problems, it wont let any units move. Also i noticed the team scores hadn't changed from the previous turn. Could you please resend

Beorn-eL-Feared and Team KISS: We got this problem before, and it means that when you saved the game, you did it like Single Player (Control - S), rather than multiplayer. (Hit enter at the end of the turn). Since you guys keep a log, can you replay the turns in the same order and not gaining any other knowledge? Thanks.
 
Does this mean our 24hrs is reset to the time the turn is resent?
If so no problems, however if thats not the case then we may need a small extension.
 
I'd say yes that the 24 hours is from the time that you get a "good" save. Sorry about this... we are working on some training.

The resend has the same problem as the original save:sad: . Hopefully it will be third time lucky

I did just load the game, have you tried to open it?
 
It obviously needs to be played again THE SAME WAY ... and saved correctly !!!

This has happened to me before in another pbem ... it was the only solution :D
 
Game re-played, saved on the Save&Exit menu, re-sent; if this doesn't work I give up. At any rate, we've got better turnplayers around.
 
@Beorn -- sorry, it's still messed up. How do you launch the game when you play? See my previous post on a possible fix. Also once upon a time, people were fairly religiously starting MP games from a newly launched game instance -- e.g. exit to desktop and restart the game, load game from main menu, play through to enter, save & exit.

@Robi -- no, my comment was that if I played by loading from the MP screen instead of from the main menu, the downstream team couldn't play the save due to this same problem.

MIA, TNT -- just in case this problem can occur downstream of the player which accidentally injects the problem ( team A messes up, team B works OK, team C has a problem), do you have an adequate log to replay your turns if necessary?
 
I'll replay it tonight per our turnlog unless someone else beats me to it.

Team MIA has the ability to duplicate our turn if necessary.
 
lurker's comment: I'm home in about an hour. I can get all saves and I'll take a look where it went wrong.

Update: I tried the saves and 1 thing is clear: the KISS turnplayer did something technically wrong. I'm not sure if it was incorrectly loaded or saved; but something was wrong.

Beorn: Please explain in the KISS-thread how you loaded the game and saved it, to prevent future repeats.
Team KISS: your team technically still "has the save" and it needs to be played.

I can make a quick "How to play a PBEM turn" - guide if there is interest. Complete with screenshots etc.
