Tweak Mod for Xtended + Master of Mana Updates

Nice to hear you back! Dev of v0.6 is ongoing, been busy myself as well.
As a teaser, AI now should be more willing to bring siege units in their offensive stack, and I am tuning some Ai Leaders by making them go to Magocracy, use Great Sage to build raw mana node and cast high tier summons.

In term of reported thing in this forum:
- Yes Planar gates creatures should be capped slightly more. I do not like to have them capped as regular unit (as this goes against Sheaim lore, I believe) but maybe finding a way to reduce the existing cap on Planar Gates?
- Hell terrain still have to decide what to do. I think it has been disabled as I see that AI is completely unable to do anything once spawning starts. Not Infernals, which does not rely on food, but any other... yes
- Still cannot reproduce any huge power Lair on any map...
 
Hi all

I got 2 permanent CTD on 2 different games, but both with the Lanun, so maybe there is something wrong with them because the AI are all different in the two games.
Or maybe i'm wrong 🤣
I don't think i did something in particular or different from any other game, just normal playing.
Here are two save games both the turn prior to the CTD which happens in both cases when you end the turn.
First on turn 30 and the second on turn 183
Hope it can be fixed and implemented on the save game because the second one was a really good game on epic destiny victory 😁

- hell terrain I placed it as gameoption. My feedback is very nice from lore point of view. Terrible for the AI which basically die....
- Planar Gate spawn cap divided by 2 (so you need at least 2 planar gates to be able to roll for all spawn chance for all creatures)

Other small bugfix here and there and v0.6 entering beta testing

I'm curious what the biggest time consumer for the recent build is.
 
This might be a stupid question but I have tried installing the most recent link and it keeps coming up with XML errors.

I am using the latest steam version of the game. I have installed it in the correct mods folder. I have extracted the files to there. But I still get this error code. Can someone please help me

Do you have the mod installed to "mods\Master of Mana"?
 
The folder is correct. what error message do you get?
It's many XML errors, like a hundred or something.

An example of one "Tag: SPELLRESEARCH_KELP_GROWTH in Info class was incorrect. Current XML file is: XML\units/civ4manaschoolnfos.xml
 
It sounds like maybe some old files exist that have a wrong xml schema. The zip file in first post "Master of Mana 0.6" is a stand alone build. If you delete the "mods\master of mana" folder and then extract the zip file again, it might work. don't use any other MoM installer

Yes, that's what I am doing.

I have no other MoM, historic or new, installed ever. I click on the Master of Mana 0.6 file on the link provided, 'extract' that to the mods folder I mentioned above. and it still does these XML issues.
 
hmm, I cannot think of anything right now that causes these xml errors. I just tried it myself with 0.6 clean install and it loaded without problems.

Okay thanks for checking - I have tried other mods and they work.

Do I need to download the 'Released /CvGameCoreDLL.dll' file on the links provided? and if so, where does this go?
 
you do not need to download any dll. It is already included in the zip.
