Beta 3 of the expansion pack, Twilight of the Arnor, is now out.
Here are some highlights:

In Twilight of the Arnor, the 12 major civilizations get their own unique technology trees. Beta 3 re-introduces the Iconians who have access to Pre-cursor technology that gives them significanta advantages early on.
Players can now design animated ships!
Quick access to technology details is now available by right-clicking on a tech on any screen.
Players can now build Terror Stars which can destroy entire star systems.
