two repeating crash bugs

I've just started getting into mods, and have repeatedly come had two different bugs when using the G&K Enhanced mod.

The first bug is the game crashing on the splash art map loading screen.

The second bug is the game crashing after turn 1(the starting units lose the ability to penetrate the fog of war, then the game crashes after they move into it).

I've followed all of the standard fixes and got rid of a few unstable civilizations, but I want to use these mods but can't get rid of those two errors.

Clearly there is a conflict here.

What other mods do you have loaded. Include the version numbers.

Try disabling them and see if the problem persists.
If so try asking in that mods forum as well.

The more information you provide the more likely an answer can be found.

I've already run each of the mods individually(both of them with no other mods and with only the Unofficial patch and no G&K Enhanced), and the bugs only appear when G&K Enhanced is active, so I'm fairly sure that's the non-compatibility culprit.

I've tried the latest stable version, G&K Enhanced Mod (v1.13.4) (v 1)/Civ V Unofficial Patch v2.5.2 (GK) (v 1), and the the beta version and both behave exactly the same.

Sometimes the game with freeze during the map load(this happens about 1/5 of the time) and always freezes on the second turn after I move the unit into the fog of war and it disappears.

Would deleting all other mods from the mod folder and then clearing the cache make a difference you think?

The screen loading bug is gone now(or is just luckily not happening), and I'm pretty sure the 2nd turn crash has to be related to other civilizations starting their turns, since there's no other reason my units would suddenly lose the ability to remove the fog of war and then be lost in it every time.

Please read this again.

@wickian: The game will read the mod files you have in the mods folder even if you don't activate them in-game. You need to completely delete them or remove them from the folder in order for the game to not read them.

What version of civ5 are you using? It looks to be out of date looking at the lua logs you posted. Current version is 1.02.21
