Two things....

First of all, when i'm browsing the forums, like right now, and posting and such, suddenly it just logs out. It's happened a few times and it's quite annoying. It's not like i've been away for 20 minutes but it just logs me out randomly.

Secondly:

Why doesn't some mod or Thunderfall just sticky something about why people with less than 300 posts can't have avatars. Or just some sticky that fully explains getting avatars, how many posts for a title. It may be somewhere already, but with a new thread everyday, practically, with someone asking "how do i get a custom avatar" it would make sense just to sticky it.

Do you have a cookie manager or anything of the sort running? Certain ones automatically expire cookies after a set ammount of time. ZoneAlarm Pro used to log me out whenever I tried to post.

I've had this problem pretty much since day one. It was really bad on my old system, where I would have to re-login 4 - 5 times per day. On my new system, I have only had it happen once or twice in the last month. I don't really understand it, but I'm not complaining.

As to the avatar question, it is in the Forum Rules. All posters are asked to read them when they register. We can't force them to read them, though. The same with a sticky. Many new posters don't read those, either. Besides, it really happens only once every week or two. It's not that hard to explain it. If they irritate you, just don't respond.

Maybe we could give the newbies a quiz at the end of the rules that they must answer correctly before we let them in'!

But this would give us lower PC-users less opportunity to raise your PC with questions like that Have some mercy we all want to have 1000+ PC
Nah I really think these questions are seriously meant don't want to accuse anyone.

AOL logs me out unexpectedly, twice in every session. Pisses me off because I write in the QRB and it says I'm not logged in. I log in and it says "No link specificed" Then I go back two pages and my message is gone

I think that there should sticky thread - closed - which TF would add a list of commonly asked questions so there won't be as many threads with things like "New forum" or "can I be a mod". When I mean "closed" it would be like the "Name Poster Change announcement" thread. Here could be some:

1) Will there be a new sub-forum/forum produced?
Collseum has already been diversified enough so there will not be another sub-forum created for that section. Nor will any other forums be created unless there comes a need for that which will be decided by Thunderfall.

2) Can I be a mod?
NEVER. NEVER! DON'T HAVE A CHANCE!
Real answer, though, is that new mods will rarely be assigned and the decision is up to Thunderfall to pick a very very qualified canidate to mod these forums. He won't pick them by a "Can I be a mod?" thread so there's no point in trying. The best chance is to be helpful, don't flame, and to give Lefty beer
