[UI] AgS - Resource Info Panel

I did have a bug that I found (and it might be with my resolution 1680x1050). The :) or :mad: faces in the top no longer have the tooltip when you put your mouse on them telling you the breakdown. It shows the tooltip info for either the item to the left of it or the item to the right of it (I can't remember what they are right now). Is there an easy way to fix this?

Strange, are you using any other mods? My mod doesn't touch TopPanel.xml or TopPanel.lua which controls those tooltips, and I just tested it without any issue. Could you possibly send me a screenshot?

Here is a quick screenshot of the toop tip working just fine in my test:

It doesn't show the cursor, but it was positioned directly over the :)

Thanks for the reply. I just updated to the latest version and it is back to normal now. I don't know what was going on? I use two other mods (unofficial patch and improved plot information) so maybe there was something conflicting between them? Anyways, thanks for the great mod!

i had an ambitious idea to convert magus's luxury resource display to include ALL resources (luxury, bonus & stragetic) but i dont see much of a reason to waste my time now. any headway on the hotkey action?
 
Took me quite a while to understand why I couldn't get this addon to work. I downloaded it and installed it and enabled it. But I couldn't make it show up in the drop down menu. I wasn't aware that to enable the use of mods ingame, you have to start the game from the main menu, "Mods" and then single player. Mods doesn't work if you start normal singleplayer mode. Just in case anyone else needs to know. This mod is great, can't understand why it isn't included in the game.
 
Superb add-on & pretty useful... but since there's always room for enhancements i'd like to recommend_suggest_ask_for two things;

1) Luxury-Bonus-Strategic + Foreign + Unclaimed and the reason for having these extra two categories below....

2) Double-clicking any items would find locations of such tiles (either through cycling or pointing) just like what the default Units panel does with everything on a map. Nothing i hate more than having to scroll around (ever sooo patiently) to simply find the lonely Uranium tiles just activated by Atomic-Theory & what else.

I wonder, has anyone gotten this to work with the latest patch?

I have it installed, but I don't see any additional info panels, in new or saved games. I have several other mods installed, but all of them are disabled.
 
This has been mentioned before but I'd just like to confirm that hotkey support would be ideal.
I installed this mod a while ago because it is extremely useful, but later de-installed in favour of the luxuries resources display in the top bar because it was accessible much faster (I prefer to keep the left info bar dedicated to the Science progress bar.)

Getting a hotkey in would perfect your mod, kudos on the work so far.
 
Thanks for the feedback guys. :) I'm definitely listening, just caught up with life and work at the moment. I'll take a look at any issues with the latest patch this weekend and also see if I can at least squeeze in some hot keys and minor tweaks. I'm also working on designing a tool to help the mod community in general, so my attention has been somewhat divided.
 
Dec, this mod will show any resources that exist in the Resources.xml file. Your problem with the top panel will also exist with this.
The problem is that the Top Panel and AgS Panel both use the Font Icons (i.e. [ICON_COAL] [ICON_IRON] etc) which no one has successfully managed to add to just yet.

Would it be possible to use other font icons instead of the resource icon? For instance using the Hammer Icon for Copper, so that I can differentiate the resources in the UI until the overall issue is fixed.
