nCase comes with kazaa.
I previously read reports about Kazaa-loaded spyware and installed Kazaa K++ instead. No spyware problems. Besides, I know it was because I was downloading a crack - forgot what was it - and was foolishly using IE to download it. Next thing I know ZA alerts me, asking if I want some weird program to access the Internet. I say "no" and delete the spyware directory.

And dammit...I thought I removed that sucker. I know I had Spybot S&D before and I was sure it was removed...ah well.

EDIT: Wait a minute...I just checked "Recovery" and found TWO entries for Alexa - one for today, 7/27/04, and one for 5/7/03. How did Alexa worm its back way on to my computer?

And wow. Spybot's immunizer blocks 1776 bad IE objects, and blocks 45 bad Opera plugins. Spyware Blaster still rocks though, with 3,068 items as of 7/17/04 (with Mozilla support).

Its probably not that useful to have 4 products that essentially do the same thing...

Spyguard is made by the makers of spyblaster. :p I have a lot of protection on my computers! It works like an antivirus thing. It doesn't allow files filled with spyware to open. It is very usefull.
