Un-able to launch game

When ever the game is launch via steam the game will not load at all it will show as playing the game for a few seconds and then it will close. I have tried verifying integrity of the game cache and a full re-install neither of these have helped.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Steam says build id is - 1390391
Unsure of civ 6 build atm

Thank you to all those who gave me solutions but it seems a simple restart of steam fixed the issue!
