Unhappy about the release dates for Europe.

I thought it wouldn't happen, but alas, i am already getting addicted. But this just takes the biscuit, i have to wait 4 extra days until civ arrives!

Also i cant look in the forum to pass the time as it will be pasted with: CIV RULES! IT CAN DO (Such and such.) I dont wanna know until i get it on my computer.

What do you think?

(Please dont mock if you are receiving civ before us humble Europeans, it as worse as it can get already.)

I'm pretty unhappy about this too. What makes it worse for me is the uncertainty we don't really know when it's coming just that it most likely won't be tomorrow.

Well if it's just a case of lazy publishing or "tit for tat" "I'll make you wait because you make me wait" I'm just as angry as you are for having to wait for your book. In the age of the global ecomony we should all as consumers be able to demand to be treated the same wherever possible as we have the buying power and if the sellers displease us so we can make our voices heard!

Though I will say in this case it's not just unhappiness at a late release date but an uncertain and what looks like one that keeps on changing.

Sounds about right. Quit whining over a few days delay compared to US shipping. For Civ3 and the expansion packs it took many weeks over a month before it got to Europe. Do some extra homework in the meantime.

In norwegian stores I've checked, they wont sell it until the 18th of november! I really cant understand why they are doing this! Wont it just lead to at lot of piracy copies amongst those who arent die hard fans like me?

I will buy a copy anyways of course, but guess alot of people wont! I'm soooooooooooooo disappointed! I just want to die!

I was thinking that too, so I was chocked after visiting 2 large stores in Oslo yesterday! They both confirmed the 18th of November as their date! I think it's really, really strange! Perhaps they dont know what they're talking about?

Let's see it that way: the Europeans should finish the installation from DVD before any American from their CDs even with the one-week-advantage.
