Unhappy slaves

The Celts and Babs have been wiped out, so I added their slaves to my cities. The Celts seem to be happy, but the Babs still complain about war. I'm confused why this is happening.

Hmm. The babs are completely gone, no Settler On Boat?

If there is a settler on a boat, it's been floating for ~50 turns.

They'll do that if there isn't a big enough space to settle. Did you get a "destroyed the Babylonians" message from the Military Advisor? Are they gone from the Foreign Advisor screen?

What's the "unhappiness causes" in the city screen?

I think they're always saying something about their 'motherland' where you're being 'cruel' to, but if there's no Babylon no more, then they're just like your own people, and they shouldn't be referring to any motherland. They can still have the usual reasons to be unhappy, of course. Everybody sometimes has a bad day at work.
I'm curious about the exact phrase they're using.

Do you have Babylonian cities with Babylonian population? If so, do they say the same?

What cities did you add them to. If they were cities recently settled in exBabylonian territory, it might not have anything to do with the workers you added. Just one of those things about conquering new lands you have to deal with.
