It's about republic. I know that its hard to go for war under republic. But i found that.. people unhappy when i sign peace treaty with AI i war with. i play conquer.So.. is it true? why? it can be a trick for war under republic?

If the AI declares war on you, you get "war happiness," presumably to avoid the added problem of war weariness in an already bad situation. As the war proceeds and war-weariness points will first eat away the WH before giving you WW. If you end the war before the WH has gone you lose the happiness bonus (I forget the exact extent of the bonus). However, if you go to war again, regardless of who is the aggressor, you get the WH back. It is a good trick to engineer WH, e.g. by phony wars early in the game.

Yeah, it doesn't actually matter in which government you are, but you only get war weariness from actual war activity: your units have to be in enemy's territory, or your enemy's units in yours. It probably gets worse when you get attacked and lose units. If you're not even in each other's territory, you get reverse war weariness. Sometimes it can be handy to stay at war with a civilization that's far away and doesn't really bother you anyway...

You get WW-
Minor WW:
-each turn when you have units in enemy territory, the number of units don't matter. 1 or 100, its the same either way!
-each turn when the enemy has units in your territory, the number of units don't matter. 1 or 100, its the same either way!
A bit of WW:
-every time you are being attacked, regardless of loss or win.
-every time you lose a unit.
Major WW:
-every time you lose a town or city.

You do NOT get WW for:
-being at war
-attacking on your turn, and winning the fight.

So to avoid WW, attack and kill enemy units with your offensive units the very turn after they enter your territory, so that they don't spend a single whole turn on it. Help your chances with bombard...
