unidentified error

Hi,

I try to play with the warhammer mod 1.5. Unfortunally, the game crash systematicly at end of second or third turn. My log folder is empty and when the game crash Windows Vista just indicate that the program must be close no more information.

As you indicate i modify the line in civilization4.ini in order to see python error.
; Set to 1 for no python exception popups
HidePythonExceptions = 0
Again nothing...

The steps for installation are :

- Civilization 4 : Beyond of sword
- Patch 3.17
- Mod Warhammer 1.5
- Patch warhammer
- Modification of language in civilzation4.ini (because my game is initially in french) in order to correct the problem with menu.

Just for information the mod Fall from heaven works well.

I hope that you can help me because, i love the warhammer world and your mod is certainly great.

There is a crash caused by Vista with the Warhammer world map, caused I think by the flames graphics. This is an old FFH bug that made the journey into this mod.
So, you can either:
a) manually delete the flames effects in Worldbuilder.
b) Play random maps.

We will eventually have a new Warhammer World map that will be stable on Vista.

There are two sets of Civ IV ini one it the game directory where it is installed and another on the C drive in mydocuments\mygames\CivIV. I have never been able to tell which one it uses, there is a set in each location for BTS as well.
