(RFC3E) Bug Reports and Technical Issues

Another small issue! I have a solid Byz strategy that worked since I found this mod. It worked in RFC3E too. but with the most recent Update I go bankrupt way before the first UHV. Like -30++ gold deficit per turn on 0 sience. Idk what changed or what not. Please look into it. save attached

Ok, tiny problem. There supposed to be a city, but nothing, not even a ruin.

Indeed, it is.
Minor cities are founded randomly by cluster. The cluster of cities you are referring to is as follows: [((59, 24), "Neapolis", 40), ((60, 25), "Beneventum", 40), ((62, 24), "Tarentum", 20)], see here.
I suspect the cause of this is due to the Pope's culture overlap over the case (59, 24) on the first turn.
I will make a fix today for handle this case. Anyway, I've planned to refactor this in the following.

Hum, weird...
Could you confirm that happens after the commit 5e76237a7d35925a8cde0aaac82ca0c39b2fa1f4 - Refactor event handling (#58) ?
You can see the commit history here. The previous commits is d7350c6b583c3861534a8e4b2825fc5032887e3c. You can move the project to a specific commit with the checkout operation. See here about to do this with Github Destop.
Thanks again for your feedbacks!

I don't understand a word... still noob to this git thingy. Haven't played in a while. And tested it yesterday after somehow managing to update the game.

hum, yeah sorry 😅
Actually, I was asking if you can check whether the behavior you describe also occurs before the modification (eg commit) I was talking about.
But, according to the inspection I did last night, the problem you describe could occur because of a bad initialization of variables at game startup (which appeared with the modification I'm talking about). I'm currently working on it.

Found a problem with the Ottoman wonder UHV.
Whenever I complete one of the required wonders, the UHV fails on the same turn.
I wasn't beaten on any wonders by other civs, so it seems like a logic issue. I suspect this would happen on other civs with wonder goals.

Savegame attached.

I haven't seen that problem, but the uhv page loads in extremely slowly. We talk about 7-10 sec. Everything else works smoothly but this one feature.

I plan to rewrite the way UHV is checked. I notified few weeks ago that an Russia's UHV lack check conditions. Related to this is the fact that the victory screen opens very slowly. At the moment, every time you open the victory screen, the check is computed. I plan to use the solution developed by @Leoreth in RFC DOC which consists of computing on event drive. This will be more efficient. I expect it will reduce a little the time of waiting for AI players.

Very excited about RFC3E, but can't get it to load at all.

My old computer recently crashed and I have a new Microsoft Laptop. Via my trusty old external CD-ROM drive, I re-installed Civ4 then all of the patches and mods. Fiddled with the compatibility options and had to install Directx9, but now Civ4 Beyond the Sword works just fine. The only thing that won't load is RFCE and RCF3E. .

Any tips? Any additional information that would be helpful? Is it because I didn't download Civ4 off of Steam?
