BUG version 3.0 released.
...
YOU MUST uninstall any previous versions COMPLETELY! Not removing previous version of BUG completely will cause lost of interface, options not being saved, and a headache.
I've never had to uninstall a mod before; how to I do this? For the previous version (first one I used) I followed the directions about installing it in the Mods folder.

The main directory we need to remove is any old "Bug MOD" directories, if installed as a MOD. The reason why we are asking you to uninstall is because some files have been taken out of BUG, but we found it would be easier to remove the old BUG Mod instead of having you go through and weed out the out files that are no longer in use, and will brake the game. I'd highly suggest using the installer next time around, as it will do all of this for you.

Make sure you clean our or delete the 'customassets' folder too. The continuation of the BUG corrupting the in-game log could be caused by installing newer versions of BUG over older versions.

Delete all of the contents of customassets before you run the install.

then rename customassets to something else and compare the two files after the install.

I used the uninstall function but it says I will need to alter the Civilization4.ini file or something to delete references to BUG mod. What does this mean?

If you are trying to uninstall BAT, or BUG as a Mod, make sure you delete the directory "BUG Mod" inside of My Docs\BTS folder. We left it by default, in case you wanted to delete the BUG Mod, but there is another mod that uses BUG and you don't want ot loose the settings.

There is a mod that is based on BUG. Does that mean that BUG has its very own mod ... they are modding a mod. Do you know what that means? We've made it!
