The Paper Maker helps the Chinese economy early game by giving 2 gold.

Walls of Babylon are somewhat useless. Your cities should not need the small bonus it gives to defense

Ducal Stables- sort of a no-brainer totally awesome building that you're going to build anyway, and Poland has their Grassland/Plains/Cowhorsecrazy bias, it's going to be huge guaranteed unless you turned start bias off.

Longhouse- playing a game right now with Iriquois and really didn't see the :c5production: difference here. this is when leaving 5 forest (Lumbermilled) in capitol, and 6 of the same in my second largest city. maybe just not doing it right. also there's the severe urge and maybe need to chop the tiles in the early game for all kinds of reasons.

The Floating Gardens affect the raw food total which can give huge growth.
The Royal Library's 10 ep is a little low and is hard to get on your first wave of units.

I thought most of them were actually pretty useful, like the Satrap's Court and Pyramid, but I had to give the point to the Stele, for giving the Ethiopians such an overrun cultural/faith advantage.

Honestly, the floating gardens don't seem like much of an improvement on the normal floating gardens to me. The 25% GP generation from coffeehouses are as useful as gardens: which to me, aren't useful. Lastly, the Krepost only gives a 25% speed boost for acquiring tiles? That just doesn't seem like too much of an advantage to me.

+1 Ikanda - 21 : This is basically what makes the Zulu awesome. They give fast-promoting units a selection of very potent promotions that turn even Spearmen into unstoppable walls of doom. Once they become Impis, you basically steamroll everything with a cheap, durable class of unit otherwise unfit to wage heavy war with.

-3 Walls of Babylon - 14 : Yeah, if you're playing as Babylon you're probably not even prioritizing Masonry, not unless you have Marble in the vicinity. Bonuses to defense are rather pointless, as if you're really in danger of being taken over, it'd happen whether or not you had regular walls or the Babylonian kind. These should honestly give Culture or Faith or Tourism or something atop their existing bonuses. As it stands right now, these don't do anything given how serious invasions are far less common in BNW.

Bazaar- 22

Burial Tomb- 21

-3 Candi- (17-3) 14 A building improvement of a weak, later game building that is going, best case, give 3 faith, and is much more likely go be giving 0-1 faith, at a point when 0-3 faith is fairly weak AND it requires the city be built on fresh water. Whoever designed Indonesia must hate the country.

The Bazaar is one of the most powerful early game buildings, allowing the player to swim in gold prior to the availability of multiply sea trade routes. Happiness is also spare at this time, but extra luxuries allows for trade w/ Immortal/Deity AIs, who have several copies of a luxury fairly early.

The Candi is incredibly situational. Without religious diversity, it's not much more than a Garden, a building that can only be built in special cases itself.

Floating Gardens +1. My favorite UB, food bonus is the best thing you can get as population = power.

Candi -2. I do like gardens, but only for the GPP bonus, the rest of this is a meh building, and too situational with an already situational civ (look for several freshwater cities on different landmasses ... Yea noty, I just wont bother playing them).

Krepost -1. Just a junk bonus to it.

Candi- 4 I don't consider this building "situational." I just got a free one from building Hanging Gardens, and you are guaranteed +2 Faith, even if you don't have any religion at all. Building on a lake or river is easy. And running three religions in your city should be pretty easy. Just steal missionaries. Everyone complains about all the religion spam. Make it work for you. That gives it a truly immense bonus. It doesn't deserve an early exit. Edit: Faith = Great People; even if you never found a religion, it's still a great help.

Walls of Babylon - 5 This, on the other hand, just doesn't have much that I like about it. It's not a bonus that accrues in the same way that Gold or Faith or Food does. It stacks with the other defensive buildings, but that resiliency shouldn't come into play that frequently.
