I have to admit, but after playing it seems that some of the units especially settlers and workers were better designed in Civ III, they were very easy to recognize. In Civ IV they have lost their identity, especially the settler, which is for me is difficult to identify, or may be Civ III was more clean compared to the clutter that multiple units produce in Civ IV.
