Standard and Stormbalde
- lasscannons on top/side turret
- twinlinked heavy bolters
- maingun = standard shell cannon and plasma blasgun respectively
Storm sword
- twinlinked heavy flamers on top/side turret
- twinlinked heavy bolters
- maingun = mortar
Shadowsword
- looks like no guns but targeter on top/side turret
- twinlinked heavy bolters
- maingun = defence laser

I wasn't sure about the Stormsword main weapon and the Shadowsword side turrets. The flamers are going to be fun to do

I doubt that anyone will see the skeleton-test preview load up in your browsers. Nevermind

The animation looks smoother if you save it to your hard-drive and open it with image preview for some reason (probably it's the inbuilt 'evil' in Microsoft's Explorer

)

It's only a skeleton-test, but you can see that all the hatches open, turrets move and battlecannons recoil. I have a couple of miss-attached bolts from the hull mounted cannon and the main turret hatch is attached to the wrong bone but that's easy to fix

The suspension works too!

I'm going to release the model after I've done the units as well.

The ForgeWorld Deadnought looks much better than the standard GW 'brick on legs' dreadnought anyway

Baneblade model finished and skeleton tested :goodjob:

Final little teaser before I start on the models for the Shadowsword, Stormblade and Stormsword. I doubt that the modifications will take more than a day to complete ... but ... I'm working until Monday so they'll have to wait for a bit

Some good news though. It seems that Games Workshop are sooooo lazy that most of the Imperial Guard vehicals, from APC's to artillery to air-defence, are all based upon the Chimera. This means I'll be able to do them in bulk - Leman Russ style :goodjob:
