Well, lots of propositions.
As I said, my first idea was someone to simply model the "spikes" (!) and copy/paste it to the standard chariot.
Of course the recent propositions seem much more interesting. A few things though:
- it definitely should be Persian (and replace the immortals as a UU BTW).
- I think two horses should be enough. As Kryten mentionned they were mostly used "as is" (though maybe not in that suicidal a way) and not so much as an archer base. So it does not need to be so big and with so many horses.
- About my copying/pasting. I am really crap at graphics and would probably create a disaster (for my Egyptian unit I basically draw everything (not so much though) every time and that shows
) and my evaluation period for PSP will end before I will be able to finish it. I might try to do a slinger since it seems nobody ever tried to do one if I have the time but a chariot is too much for me. Or there is a real good teacher at PSP copy/paste here because I did not quite get the tutorial.
- about the attack maybe to make it run and turn right/left/right/left... since it is a kind of "chasing" unit ? Just an idea...
So basically it is up to you REAL unit designers. Depend on your time, ressources, inspiration and skills.
