If anyone wants any images of Russian and Warsaw Pact Aircraft, I have an old Wings magazine from 1979. Anyone, If I posted the pictures would someone be able to do a Tupolev Tu-126 Moss to go with Boeing E-3A sentry in the game. If both were done, with a large croup of Western and Soviet Units there could be the chance of a good Red Storm Rising type scenerio of Soviet Aggression towards the West.

if any one is into makin more Canadian UU's could you make the Avero Aero, its was the most advanced supersonic jet ever built in the cold war but because our politians up here have the i.q. of george w. on acid it was cancelled. still it would be a great jet fighter for a canada civ.

I hope someone can help me with this one.
I got this off the movie StarShip Troopers it is the Warrior Bug.
The only attacks it has would be a stabbing motion from its claws,
a scissor motion with its mouth cutting the enemy in half.

It will move fast and will be strong.

Yes, I agree because there is a fair quantity of Russian and American units that are already produced or under production. It would be criminal for a scenario developer not to find a way to produce a Red Storm Rising scenario with Civ 3. I like the idea of having the Americans and the Russians going head-to-head with a few Allies on each side.

Thats why I'm fishing around in this thread.

The SP is one unit I would really like to see in the game.
My skills (or lack thereof) with animation shop prevent me from doing any halfway decent job of it.

That is correct joespaniel,
I am working on the Wespe, but the Russian MSTA is already done and I have the modelers permission to use it. The only thing missing is the animation

But I will look for a animator with my flashlight for us since I love to have a SP myself.

I used to be an artist. I can draw pretty well, and paint half-assed.

What if the Moss that you have was still made but as a Soviet Air Transport? I'm sure looking that it bears resemblance to some Soviet Air Transports with most E-Warfare planes being modified transport planes (includes cargo or passengers). Another unit I almost forgot about was the giant C5 Gallaxy. A US transport plane that no NATO-USSR Scenario would be complete without.
