I could use some units for my Final Fantasy Tactics mod. I can find some pictures for someone not familiar with the game, but you'd have a better idea of what I want if you have. Basically, so far, these are the special units I need:
-Empty chocobo (uses peck attacks)
-Chocobo Spearman (defensive unit)
-Chocobo Archer (offensive)
-Chcoobo Knight (offensive)
Ok, I might need more chobobo units as well, but for all of the ridden ones you could probably use the same base chocobo and put a different rider on top. When attacking, the chocobo under the archer or spearman just kinda sits there, but the knight charges like the horse under the standard Knight.
Other units for "barbarians":
Bomb(possibly needed, wait for news on this unless you're bored)
Goblin(also tentative)
(Ok, I'm not sure at all to what I want here though. The unridden chocobo is a possibility for one.)
Squire(uses dagger)
Monk(uses hands)
Foot Knight(carries large sword)
Black Fire mage(uses "bombard" of fire spells)
also, an Ice and Lightning mage would be nice too. use the same base and just change the attack animations.
I'll probably have 2 or 3 levels of these units so for the higher level units the spell effects can just be more powerful. They have no attack/defense though, so they also need a capture animation. For fidgeting, they could toss a ball of energy between their hands or something.
Also, I might want a Lancer. This'll have attack and defense values, as well as a 'bombard' of up to 4 squares(well, the range would vary based on the 'level' of unit).
I can't really think of any good way to implement a thief(except as maybe a hidden nationality unit), so I probably won't need that. Same for the other mage classes.
Since about 80% of the units are going to be original, the other ones may need to be redone as well to match the style. Namely, the worker and settler. I'm probably going to represent most of the warrior-style classes as well, so in summary, here's most of the 'normal' (non-chocobo) units:
Squire
Knight
Archer
Monk
Thief
Lancer
Wizard(Black mages)
Samurai
Ninja
It's a lot of work, and I am going to put in some work myself on it, but I definitely can't do it all myself. Like I said before, I'd prefer it if anyone helping has actually played the game so that they've got a good idea of what the in-game animations and units already look like.
If you want to help with this, reply in the thread in the main C&C forum, and IM me on AIM:
