Hey.... I'm sure there is a Unit out there that would fit my needs. I'm making my own little mod which, among other, would have more Hidden Nationality Units. What I'm looking for right now is something that could act as an upgrade for the privateer... some kind of Pirate Cutter or what not. So, if anybody could post a like or soemthing.. .or even come up with a completely new unit (wow!) that'd be great!
Actually, I was looking for the mobile infantry from the DyP teasers. I found it (or atleast a very similar unit) called a Power Armor. I downloaded it from here: http://www.angelfire.com/amiga/civ3/ and it was by BlueO (I'm not sure if thier from this forum)
Anyways, if anyone knows where I could find some Protoss (Star Craft) units, that'd be awesome. And if someone were to make them because I need them, that'd be even more awesome. If no such units exist, oh well. I'll see if I can figure out how to make units.

have you ever thought about making the Grumman FF-1?
This cute little biplane was the US Navy's predecessor to the famous F4F Wildcats and F6F Hellcats... a "must have"!
Here a FF-1 as stationed aboard USS Lexington in the 1930s:

On 2 April 1931, the U.S. Navy issued a contract for an experimental fighter to be called the XFF-1 to Grumman Aircraft Engineering Corporation. This contract marked the beginning of a Navy/Grumman association that has endured to the present day.
First flown in 1931, the Grumman FF-1 (affectionately known as "Fifi )" was noteworthy for its innovative design characteristics that marked a great step forward in aircraft design - first fighter with retractable landing gear; an enclosed canopy for both cockpits; and, an all metal, stressed skin fuselage. The "Fifi" was of rugged design typical of all future Grumman aircraft. The single significant drawback to the FF-1 was its poor climb capability, taking six minutes to reach 10,000 feet.
The FF-1s entered service with the fleet in June 1933 with delivery to VF-5B, the only squadron to ever operate them. They were withdrawn in November 1935 and relegated to reserve duties. A later model (FF-2) was configured as a trainer with the installation of dual controls and operated with Marine Reserves. By 1941 only two remained in service.

Because I think that is strange to have Einstein on 30 BC, I think that it would be good to have era specific scileaders.
My ideas:
1) ancient: a phylosopher like Aristoteles, similar to Alexander king unit with white beard and a paphirus on the hand
2) middle ages: Leonardo da Vinci, based on Charles V (Austria king unit), with as fidget animation he that show his flying machine
3) Einstein or Newton (based on William unit)
4) Stephen Hawking

I am looking for somebody who could draw me a unit looking like a guerilla clothed with ruined civilian clothes. Ideally, the unit would display a civilian surviving a major catstrophe and who has no other choice but to take one of the plentiful weapons lying around. Thanks
