could anyone make one of these units? they would carry troops and go very fast, also, some versions could fire missiles as well as you see.

I really like the cow idea... Cow Rider

You could also have a cow with scud missles strapped to its back... Scud Cow

Or a with lasers on its head... Lasar Cow

Or how about a cow that you drop out of planes... Para Cow

Even a cow that is a field medic.. Holy Cow!!!

Really, on a lot less serious side how about a cavalry unit with guns and an ugly red uniform that says shoot me, ey?... Canadian Mounty, hehe...
 
Since I do not have a 3d editor (Gmax, 3dstudio, etc ), Bussy with the Republic Gunship, and the ships that I made looks kind of crapy (Mostly screenshots taken from Empire earth of the Frigate - Good Hope.) Here is my unit request:

Dreadnought (Eather the H.M.S. Dreadnought or the game Imperialism's version), Armored Cruiser, Battle Cruiser, and the Advanced Ironclad (Iron Frigate :D). Most of the units comes from the game Imperialism. Thanks
 
Another unit I think would make a great addition to the game is an "Armored Train" unit which could be used as either a super large arty unit like the Germans had in WWI or a mobile quick response Artillery unit. Yes this is despite the fact that with RR's any unit can be rapid response, I just think it'd add some fun.

As to CivGenerals request theres already a Dreadnought unit out but the others you named have not been done. Though I think there was an "Iron Battleship" being worked on I believe it was abandoned.
 
Apart from maybe eletronics, the only area that the US really surpass all other nations in modern times in terms of military "UNITS" is in it's Super Carrier Fleet!!!

So if one of the very able guys here would make a big, nuclear powered, type aircraft carrier it would be great a UU for Amerika in modern times...I mean the F-15 is a strange UU for Amerika...it's a nice plane, but Sukhoi and Mikoyan were always that one step ahead in aircraft design....ups, didn't mean to start that discussion up here :D .....

With respect to the WWII battleship whatever happened to that very nice alternative to the "Battle Waggon" (sorry TVA22, U have made some very nice units, but the Battle Waggon does not do U any credit)?....

The Grunt seems a bit too much like the marine, with the vest and all. I was hoping that someone would make a infantry unit that has some assault rifle like an M-16 and with modern clothing.

I would think this would be a popular unit, however I haven't seen any trace other than the Grunt.
 
We are going to have to use the grunt a the modern infantry for the time being untill someone creates an Army infantry with the M-16. I just renamed the grunt to Modern Infantry. Basicly the Grunt Represents the Vietnam war era Army Infantry units. Although it is nice to have a Modern Infantry with an M-16 and have its preq to Synthetic Fibers :). I would have to agree with Free Enterprise about the grunts looks, If you place them side by side. Only one of them has there sleaves rolled up. We defanately need an Modern Infantry armed with an M-16 (For the Americans or there allies) , an AK-47 (For the Russians and there allies.), or Nato issued weapons to nations who do not buy M-16.

That's probably the best idea I've heard for an American UU yet. When you think about it that really is what allows the US to 'project' itself world-wide (Afghanastan really showed what those babies could do). Should the UU carrier have a higher cargo capacity or some other difference from the common carrier?
 
I'm in the process of making a mod that's kind of... different. Two of the civilizations I've designed for it are The Penguins of the World and The Polar Bear Defense Force. My request is a penguin with a jetpack (ala Batman Returns), and an attack animation involving some sort of modern weaponry (just no hand-to-hand weaponry) if possible.

The Polar Bear unique unit should just be a polar bear with an Uzi or M16.

Anyways, if anybody could get to work on this (ever) it would be great. I know there probably won't be much payoff for making such units, but it'd be fun.
 
Can someone please make a Russian soldier. It would be kewl if they had an AK-47. I think it would also be cool to replace the Infantry unit for Russia with this new unit. Thanks!

I think it would be cool to have a sniper. They would be a ble to shoot from two spots away instead of having to go into comat right in front of each other.

I requested these a couple of months ago, but no one seemed to want to do them then. I'll try again though, and hope someone will take up the challenge.

I'm looking for two units:

1) A genetically enhanced warrior available with Genetic Engineering. I was thinking to have it look sort of like Rambo, but with no weapons.

2) Cyborg. Sort of, but not totally Borg. Her weapon is built into her arm, and shoots as a laser.

Any takers?

I will put this on my to do list. I might get around the the Genetic one, but will defintely do the female Cyborg (all my stuff is heavy on the female side, the male morph stuff is still being constructed).

I just got some robotic arms for my female model and was gonna start making all of my leadersets in 5 eras (adding Future to the 4 eras standard to Civ3) So if you chose to make a scenaro that starts later in time you'd have a leaderhead set to move up to.

You might want to check out BlueO's avatar. It was a futuristic cyborg amazon (part of his Amazon units thread) that was similiar to Royo's artwork and called down a laser blast on her targets.

Baja California is the penninsula that shoots out of southern california. It is part of Mexico. I have been there many times. It is very warm and mostly desert and mountains. Some other people have created better world maps that show more of mexico than firaxis's world map.

As far as zorro goes, please check out my fencer unit. (see link in signature) It was patterned after zorro.
 
Did anyone every make a superior carrier for the U.S.? Which would allow for carring more planes. Or did anyone make a smaller carrier? Because I think that is what the game needs most...

A main carrier, which carries 5-8 planes or so. It's slow, strong defense, average attack.

A second carrier, which carries 3 planes, it's fast, weak defense, and weak attack.

What does everyone think? The carrier in the game could be either of these... but someone would have to make another one.

Anyone do that yet?
