Units!

Small question about the last three on the second row of units I posted two days ago: they were done by "Panda", but I don't know their signature. Does anyone know what it is? Or Erwan's either (part of lower left unit)? He seems to be just like Bebro: many units, but no attribution.

Just write their names at the top, that seems to work,
anyways, some new star wars units, ToT format, :D

Broken Erika: Those are some great Star Wars units. I'm in need of units for the Clone Wars campaign, so if you want to contribute please feel free to do so. ;)

Temurleng: Here's erwans tag.

Sweet! I was thinking of making a darlec, i have watched all but the first episode of the NEW season of doctor who, and it is great (though the last darlec was hard to understand and i put on the text thingy), i also thought it kept saying "extarpulate", and extrapolate is the act of deep thinking, philosophy sort o thing (soul-searching?).

@erika: nice! just wish it wasnt tot...

Thanks BE and Arthedain.
Erika, those units are absolutely SPECTACULAR! I've been collecting Star Wars units for some time and those are among the best I've ever seen. But, I concur with Scamp: It's a shame there in ToT format.

Hello,

after playing civ3 for a long time, I got an idea to go back to civ2 and make a simple scenario about a hypothetical war.

I was wondering if anybody knew of or could make me some plastic army men units.
I really need infantry but anything will help me out alot. I will be sure to give whoever helps me out big props in the README file of the scenario.

Thanks,

Alsbron QB

Its unrelaistic to expect anyone to make an entire set of 'non-plastic' units for you. I've been doing some experimenting and and I figure you can make the units yourself from the extensive library of units available using the following adjustments via a regular painting program such as paint shop pro, adobe photoshop or microsoft photo editor.

1. under red/blue/green adjustments, make red and blue 10% (or -90 depending on program)

2. under contrast, +30% or so (or 130 depending on program)

3. under brightness, + 30% or so.

you'll need to do a bit more experimenting to get it just right

Erika this seems to be the best SW set I've seen so far!!!
Do you work on units from episodes IV-VI too?

More Dalek units. The one on the far left is Davros half humaniod half Dalek former leader and creator of the Daleks he was killed in the last great time war. Next to him is a commander Daleks and next to him are three other Dalek variations and to the right of them are two heavy weapon Daleks. BTW Erika those Star Wars units are cool did you rip them from SW:GB?

Yes, i did rip most of them from star wars galactic battlegrounds, each unit took between 3-50 min. to rip, resize and clean up, as when directly ripped with no risizing some of the units were up to 7 times larger than the ToT unit box, luckily some others fit quite nicely, they all turned out good,
the jedi knight was made from one of failines iberian swordsmen, and the republic fighter was ripped from a picture of a toy, :p

Hmmm, Daleks seem to be all the rage now, :D

some brand new star wars units :D

cool, how long does it take to make them? rips vs non-rips?
depends on the method, the a-wing took forever to finish beacause i got the brilliant idea of getting rid of the background and cleaning it up befor i resized it, and appearently it was a good method since it doesn't look high res,
game rips are easier because there are many units that can be taken from a screenshot that don't need to be resized, :p
oh, and jpegs are eeeevil! :sniper:

the only unit i ever made from scratch was a ww2 aircraft carrier, and it took me over an hour to make, i specialize in unit modifications and game rips,
