Unofficial BTS 3.13 patch

Even if the next patch fixes all the known bugs and adds no new ones there still might be undiscovered bugs later. Also the AI will never be perfect so there will always be tweaks to be made as long as someone has the will and knowledge to do it.
 
1) I think I must have missed this somewhere, but what do I do to install this??

2) I have already installed the HOF mod. Can I install this without issues? And Still play HOF games?

Navigate to your C:/Program Files/Firaxis Games/Sid Meier's Civilization 4/Beyond the Sword/Assets/ folder. Replace the CvGameCoreDLL.dll file in that folder with Bhuric's file. I would backup/rename your old DLL file so that you can switch if you have to (for some reason).

The HoF mod already includes most (all?) of Bhuric's changes, so it's not necessary.
 
Could you include a fix for the bug where you cannot carry out the "sabotage building" espionage mission in any city that doesn't have a monument?

Nope. It's just that Gandhi's super nice... There are different values for all the 'personalities' of the various leaders.
 
using the 3.13 last altered 2nd November I have run into problems playing multiplayer that the removal of this dll solves.
The multiplayer game can be continued as a single player by the host, but it is impossible for any other player to join once the problem occurs.
I will post saves etc later.

I'd love to read throughout all 60 pages, but really don't have the time or the inclination. So, has anyone noticed Kublai Kahn is exchanged with Quin Shi Huang?

this is a bug fix dating back to some official warlords patch (or warlords release, I don't recall) - in effect they are right now and had been switched when Civ4 was originally released.
 
So they were switched in the original release and are now fixed? Hadn't thought of that...

I have installed the Mods under C:/Program Files/Firaxis Games/Sid Meier's Civilization 4/Beyond the Sword/Mods
I couldn't find the CvGameCoreDLL.dll file through this path C:/Program Files/Firaxis Games/Sid Meier's Civilization 4/Beyond the Sword/Assets, so I can't replace it. I only can find the CvGameCoreDLL.dll file through
C:/Program Files/Firaxis Games/Sid Meier's Civilization 4/Beyond the Sword/Assets/Mods/The Road to War/Assets/CvGameCoreDLL.dll

Are they the same?? Should I replace this .dll file and put the SDK source folder under this path?? Thanks
 
the road to war assets are NOT the ones you want to change.
Do you have another BtS folder somewhere? Is C:/Program Files/Firaxis Games/Sid Meier's Civilization 4/Beyond the Sword really your install path? - if so the .dll has to sit in
C:/Program Files/Firaxis Games/Sid Meier's Civilization 4/Beyond the Sword/Assets
or your game won't start - so if you cannot find it and the game works there must be a different install path used.
Did you install a digital version? they use different paths IIRC
