UnReal 1 What if...

...the Nuclear Bomb was not an option during WW II? Who would have made the attempt to invade Japan. Many are skeptical, but the majority favored America. However, the Eastern Beast was soon on its own war path of destruction. China had made a strong comeback near the end of the Pacific Campaign, but what if they had an earlier chance to fight?

This game is the beginning of my new (and hopefully continuing) series of major "What Ifs" in history. My first is relatively easy, since it only involves the team playing as China and defeating Japan ENTIRELY. I remind you, there IS URANIUM in this game, but the Atomic Bomb can not be built by any nation. Plus I have extended the game length substancially. This is also a very good way to level up you Monarch players (like myself, seeing how this is my FIRST emporer game) to the likes of the glorified "Sid" players.

The game will provide for a great challenge for all those who wanted an extended version of the WW II scenario in Conquests, but this time it's up China to invade Japan!

The Red Army took Berlin, now the Red Dragon will take Tokyo!

Geez, that sounds like me to a tee. I'm in, but let a person or two go first so I can watch the first turns they play.

This IS a scenario, the Welt Kreig Zwei von Conquests, we will be starting when the war begins (Japan attacks America). I thought you had already played this game... well it doesn't matter, cuz you have the chance now

@SesnOfWthr Good to have you on the team, this is probably easier the LK's game, but that still doesn't mean you can't play both!

You guys are jumping the gun a bit, I've had to wait upwards of a week to get enough people to start a game.

I think it's a great idea, and would join if I didn't already have like 6 SGs in progress.

Thanks for the reminder Gengis, but I really haven't promoted this that well. It's just a fun game and only semi-challenging (unless your noobish :rolleye: ), however... I think more people will enjoy my next two UnReal games... Iroquis conquest in Age of Discovery and Greece...yes, GREECE, in the Middle Ages scenario.

Hey y'all, playing China in this scenario is one of my favorites! Have beaten it on Monarch but must admit my Emperor track record is below 50% (have been reading the Strategy Guides on moving up). I consistently win at Monarch games tho. I'm playing one other SG (VB2) but its moving molassass slow. If you've still got room I'd be game.

I agree, priorities would be to move on the rubber and oil supply on the Vietnam peninsula. We're about to succumb to a blistering air raid tho and pressure on Nanning and Kunming will be fierce. A favorite opener is to take and hold Hanoi whilst bracing back the impact on the Kaifeng / Nanking front (which has a Japanese Army unit parked on it).

We do not have air superiority so risking our few aircraft in bombing raids is not wise. I like to make a ground run down the mountains to Hue and knock out the roads with an arty using the Flying Tigers as air cover.

Just some ideas - let me know if you need an extra...
