Using 2 monitors

Hey guys.
I'm trying to play movies on 1 monitor and civ 4 on the other (multytasking ) but when I play civ the picture in the video goes blanc. Has anyone tried this with some good results?

You need to play Civ4 in Window mode. Put it on one screen, then the other screen remains available for other activities. At least that's the way to do it on a Mac, and I guess it should be possible on a PC ?

I figured it out, the problem was I was using the smaller monitor at 1024x768 and the big one at 1280x1024, lowerin the big one to 1024x768 fixed it. Not the best setup but it works so I'm happy, plus I'm so lazy I don't want to bother.
