v1.52 - Game Ignores Keyboard Input, Upsets Mouse.

If I want to rename something the game just completely ignores anything I type in, and if I try to rotate the view also nothing happens. The problem is intermittant, everything works fine one miniute and then in the next it doesn't.

Also when this is happening the mouse's tooltips stop showing up while it continues to work fine for clicking and scrolling. Something odd, if there is a pop-up, for example clicking an advisor tab or the AI want to make a deal then the toool tips and the relations summary also stop working occaisionly. Also when one of these pops up, the the context box on the left says ocean or ice, even if behind them the mouse is hovering over land or a unit.

I face the same problems.
Sometimes I was able to solve them the following way:
Enter the capital (tooltips not available). Move a worker to another tile (or remove and put back). In most cases the tooltips reappear after that.

Unfortunately, this is not possible obviously, if you are engaged in diplomatics (called by other nation) or if you are maintaining a build list or tech picking as last action of that turn.

Its good to know I'm not alone.

I've noticed since that the problems also go away by alt-tabbing to the desktop and then going back. But its not a permanent fix and within miniutes the problem is back. Its kind of a pain to keep doing that and really spoils getting immersed in the game,

"Mr. Caesar why are you angry with me?... I'm sorry but my advisors have suddenly decome very shy, excuse me a moment while I minimise the world."

yes, this has been an issue with me as well since the original release.. that is renaming using keyboard and mouse over tooltips not working intermitently.

Sorry to bump this, I know its not a major issue but surely someone must have an inclination as to the cause?
