VCD question

[The Godfather]

Let's say I've downloaded AVI and ASF files to my computer and want to burn them to CD's to watch them on a DVD player.

How do I do this? What programs do I need to convert the AVI and ASF files to VCD format?


Any info on this will be very much appreciated.

looks like they got some excellent how-tos there, but be prepared, converting an avi (eg. divX) into mpeg (VCD) takes LOADS of time
