Sorry guys did not know where to post this and I'm new to these forums. Basically I been playing Caveman to Cosmos for Civ IV since about ver 27 or so.

Anyways I found a problem. I'm playing the new civilization Asnazi I think is called the native americans pueblo people or w.e and basically I got up to Ancient era and I noticed that on the horseman unit the button is pink with no picture and I click on it and the game crashes. I tried it the second time and same result. Is there anyway to remedy this? Because now I won't be able to build any horsemen at all.

Thank you. Again not sure where to post this so I did it here. Ok hopefully I get a response. One last question is the dynamic civ mod component working with this version? Because on ver 30 it was not working for me. After Despotism and switching to Monarchy my civ title would not change to Kingdom of Such and Such. It would just stay at provisional goverment until I switch to a democratic goverment and the problem was fixed, but monarchy there was a problem with. Ok that's all Hopefully I get a responce to these 2 questions and any way to fix it...would be helpful.

Yeah i saw the same thing and corrected it (see attached). But you need the SVN version to get the update sorry.

Any bugs you find post them in the bugs/crashes thread in the "Sticky" area above this, and btw Welcome to CFC and trying this Great Mod!!

Ok thanks. I'm downloading the SVN now--Turtoise. so I will get my updates from that from now on. Glad you knew about this error though. How long of a download wait can I expect?

Btw I love your mod I think its the best one for Civ IV. Its so much better than the original game. It's like 1000X better with all the goverment choices, buildings etc. I tried playing Civ V but I did not like the hex map and not as much choices there as to setting up your goverment etc, civics. So I rather play Civ IV and - again enjoy this mod very much thats why I felt compelled to suscribe to this forum.

How big is the SVN download because I already downloaded V31 at 1.2gig and my monthly data allowance is only 15gig? :(

It won't help the specific problem you raised (dynamic civ naming), but for the fixes to various crashes you just need the patch DLL, which you'll find in the patch thread, and is only a few megabytes.

I already got the latest svn working. Though how do you fix the dynamic civ naming thing though? Like if the civ name gets stuck at provisional goverment? Anyone know what steps to take? For instance switching from Despost--> Monarchy. The name would have to change from Empire of Rome for instance to Kingdom of Rome...no? Instead it hangs at provisional.

That's the problem I have with dynamic civ name mod.

Edit* The author of this mod he never has done regular updates to keep up with the new civic changes over time. I guess thats the problem with it. I looked at the file in Assets--> Phyton--> Revolution--> Gameready-->DynamicCivNames. I have no clue what im looking at though all the code looks like Egyptian writing to me haha. SO I guess that's why it has not been fixed..probably no one knows how to do it. Just my guessing.
