Better look harder, Ryan.;-) Aspyr replied to my ticket by telling me that the DLC was only available for PCs now and closed my ticket:

"Your Aspyr Support ticket has been closed.
If you still require assistance, you can reopen this ticket by replying to it."

I replied:

"Darn right I want the ticket reopened! The offer of the Vikings DLC appeared WITHIN my Mac game and I purchased and paid for it. Why did it appear in the game and how am I going to get it without paying for it again? BTW, the Mac Civilization V forum has several posts from others who also purchased the DLC and didn't get it."

I saw the main screen offering for the DLC and Maps! Bought said DLC (Vikings), and the maps, and I was surprised that it didn't Download....

Well, it's not like you won't get them. Just some technical glitches are inhibiting your instant gratification.

Both DLCs will be proposed by Game Agent Europe ?

Because it seems that those two DLCs are effectively released for north-american with price in $, while european with price in £ have not these two DLCs...

I prefer paying on Game Agent than on Steam...

Got this from Aspry this evening:

"Though it may have popped up saying the Denmark scenario pack is available on your Mac, it was just advertising that it is available but only for PC as the page and link above show. You can download the DLC but it will not recognize or show up in your Civilization V Map Type or scenario. You already have the DLC. So once it is available for Mac you can redownload it on your Mac for Free since you already have it (for PC)."

While I'm happy to see that I will be able to download it for free when it becomes available, I think the statement that it was just advertising for the PC version is less than accurate as this screenshot from my Mac version of the game shows:

From what I've been able to tell, the links to the DLC on the main menu are part of the patch. Once we get the issues with the DLC ironed out with Valve, the links will likely go to the DLC page on Steam, which will be for both PC and Mac since it'll be Steamplay like the rest of the DLC.

As I recall, the patch for PC hit a few days before the Denmark and Map DLC, and the links were present there on the main menu early.

I've been trying to download this patch for two days now and it keeps getting halfway through and telling me the servers are too busy. Is anyone else having this problem? Does anyone know what I can do?

My question on the ticket:"I have bought the latest DLC but it hasn't downloaded. When ???

Answer:"Hello,

Thank you for contacting Aspyr Technical Support!

Go into your system preferences and go to Universal Access. Enable Access for your your assistive devices then you will be able to download the DLC and it will appear in your Civilization V.

needless to say that "advice" didn't work, but it did make me smile as it confirmed my suspicions

I've had a problem since the new patch.

Every time I try to launch Civ 5, Steam just freezes and I have to force quit. Other games launched from Steam work just fine, only Civ 5 has the problem.

Does anyone know if I contact Aspyr or Steam about this?

It's listed on GameAgent here. But if you have already bought it for Windows on Steam, the Mac version doesn't appear to be available yet.

Here's something new. I restarted the game and this time the main screen no longer advertises the availability of the Viking scenario or the latest map packs.
