VH1's top 100 songs of the past 25 years.

To be honest, it's not as bad as I expected it to be. Usually these kind of charts contain the current Top 10 in the best 25. :ack:

Which still doesn't change the fact it's not my kind of list.

@Everyone wondering where Queen songs are: I did spot 'Under Pressure'. ;)

Agreed. Different countdowns for different types of music are pretty much all you can really do, and still please most people.

Nirvana is overrated. All they did was kill hair metal, and eventually killed grunge by bringing it mainstream. Then, rap and teen pop took over. Our current situation. :(

If Cobain didn't kill himself, he would have burned out and disappeared like he should have.

I said it is. But this song is hardly one of their best. I doubt it would've been the queen song on the list if it didn't have a video-clip.

Can't really say I agree with that list. IMHO the top4 don't even belong in the top50 and the number 5 should be #1. But that's just my opinion, off course....

On the subject of Nirvana I'd have to agree they are over-rated. Only because the hype surrounding them is so much that no band could live upto it.

Nirvana made plenty of good tracks and some class albums but they're not as amazing as they are made out to be IMO.

It's my belif that Kurt knew that Grunge was on a delcine and he would have to sell out or fade away, He instead made himself a rock legend. If he hadn't ate a lead sandwich he would be a rembered as a much better verison of Peral Jam (rember them the last time I heard a new Eddie Verder song was a Beatle cover he did about two years ago)

Don't get me wrong I love Nirvana but Teen Spirt isnt even there best song for pete's sake. It was just the most succesful
