Victim of perceived thug does end up in jail

I brought it up because its part of this ongoing story. Or are you opposed to showing facts that are favorable to Zimmerman?
Expect many more "ongoing stories" such as this to be released by Zimmerman's defense lawyers in the future so those who are trying to rationalize his completely absurd acts of vigilante profiling can have more ammo.

Again, we have no idea of what questions were actually asked, much less the full results of the test.

A delay doesnt change the results of this test.
You were the one who is engaging in sheer speculation that this had anything to do with it. Now you are trying to "move the goalposts"?

I asked you a couple of questions based upon points you brought up regarding how to pass a lie detector test. You implied it was fairly easy to pass one by giving such examples. If your points are so thin that you cant even answer simple questions in regards to your own posts, then what the hell.
Don't you think you can do so without falsely alleging that I even insinuated that Zimmerman took tranquilizers or was highly trained in passing "lie detector" tests by demanding "proof"?

Either the ongoing stories is a fact....or it isnt.

Stop having such thin skin. You knew what you implied, and my follow up questions perfectly legitimate.

Now then is there anything that we know of to indicate that Zimmerman somehow lied in this test? Its not too tough of a question, in fact, the answer is 'yes' or 'no'.

So which is it?

And stop thinking people asking you tough questions on points YOU RAISE are personal attacks. They arent. They are counter-argument to points you bring up. Crying about people asking you tough questions isnt an answer, and trying to play the victim doesnt help at all (especially when your're not a victim).

I obviously didn't "imply" anything of the sort. I merely pointed out how unreliable "lie detectors" actually are, just as many others did.

Try asking me questions about opinions I actually have, and I will answer them. Otherwise, it is just so much loose straw that Dorothy isn't around to collect.

Thus implying that this result is unreliable as well.

Is it your opinion that Zimmermans lie detector test is unreliable? :mischief: And if yes, then why?

Again, why aren't "lie detectors" admissible in court, much less used as the sole determination of guilt?

You did read the posts in this thread stating exactly the same thing. Right?

Lets try this again. Why cant you answer a simple question? Form, you asked me to give you a simple question(s) about opinions you have. See above. Now answer them. The first ones easy...just a simple yes or no will do. The second asks you to explain your yes answer a bit in a chance for you to give it some context. Shouldnt be too hard.

Again, I just did as others did as well. It "shouldn't be too hard" to figure out what these posts actually mean given that all "lie detector" tests are "unreliable".

You see Form, even when I ask you simple yes or no questions, you cant even answer them.

Lets try it again, for a third time.

Mobby, I know you can do better than that. It is quite clear he believes that this test is unreliable. As to why, probably because all peer reviewed liturature says so. Sorry I could not find any quickly, but this is the sort of reason
http://www.newscientist.com/article/mg21028182.900-the-truth-about-lie-detection.html

[EDIT] Actually, there is a pretty good document linked from that article, by the US National Academy of Sciences sumamarised as "while lie detectors are significantly better than a toss of a coin, they fall far short of the accuracy required". It should also be noted they are talking about polygraph tests, which are much more sophisticated than this relatively simple voice analysis.
