You can get it from Gamespot if you are a member or 3dgamers or from totalwar.com

Here is a modders version of the patch from totalwar.org. This can be dropped into modded versions of VI so it won't overwrite any mods.

Modders patch . You'll need to become a member or the Org, but its free and incredibly useful anyway, so why not?

I have gathered the required files and uploaded them,
.... simply backup the following files
version.inf and Medieval_TW.exe
and copy the content of the zip into the required Medieval Directory

Did you get it? Did you know that Activision recalled the patch as it was prematurely released. So its not officially the official patch .... yet.
Apparently Activision are saying that there are still QA problems with the patch but the CA programmers are saying its the real deal and was only released early ie before the announcement of the Rome: Total War release date and now they are witholding it due to spite.

If you missed it, it will be available at Erado San's site until he is expressly forbidden to host it. It was still there when I wrote this.

Its official now and its the same version as before. They just wanted it held until the release of Rome was announced.
I think they wanted some good news to take the sting out of having to wait another year for Rome.

That is something I just cannot understand since its already being used for a TV program. I wonder if they are having problems reducing the minimum specs and are waiting for the average technology level to increase so that the game will run on more PCs...
