I'm putting this in the next version of my mod. Hope that's OK. (I will, naturally, put a credit in there for ya.)
I wanted an ancient times ship that could cross seas and be used offensively for commercal civs to give them a bit of a boost. This fits the bill perfectly... all the other ships I saw on this forum were too "modern" looking. I gave it an A/D/M of 2/1/4, flagged hidden nationality and it can sail along the shore and in sea squares, but sinks in the ocean. (Viking longboats were more seaworthy than galleys.)
I've also attached here large and small civilopedia icons that I whipped up. The large one is from a picture I got off the web, and the small one is just a copy of the SE veiw of the unit itself.
