Villain + Destroying AP

If you are currently "considered a villain" and then you find and raze the AP city. How long do you stay a villain?

If you mean the unhappiness from defying a resolution, that lasts 20 turns on Normal (not sure if scaled by game speed). Razing the AP doesn't do anything to enhance or reduce that duration as far as I know.
