Quinzy: Here's a few suggestions:
Okay, your lighting setup looks okay... did you use the sky settings I listed in the Bryce tutorial I made OR if you want, I could upload my sky presets....
Also about the grainyness, what is your render settings at? Are you using normal or superfine antialiasing (it's under the document setup)? Best to use the superfine, even though it slows rendering down, due to the fact that superfine antialiasing will even render small details, where normal won't (if some of you noticed that on some of Wyrmshadow's units, narrow parts would be missing parts from the middle, that's because he uses normal AA... I found this out when he sent me the soldier dude and I opened it in Bryce and checked the settings he used).
Edit: there is a way to play Everquest and other MMOs ofline... But it requires that you have at least two computers, one of which is set up as a dedicated server, so that your "client" computer is fooled into thinking it's online... I'd have to track down one of my old Navy buddies who was a Networking tech for the exact details. I want to get FF XI (and yes, I'm willing to pay the measly $13 a month to play it), but my internet is via a wirless PCMICA card, which only works on my crappy obsolete laptop (which is the only computer I own that has a PCMICA slot), therefore I can't play it for the reason that I don't have internet access on either of my two computers that are good enough to run the game.
