Well, I can't say I'm entirely surprised at the results, either.
I am curious though. Those who are working college students; what kind of job do you have? I'm fortunate enough that my job(customer service phone job) will work around school hours(and has net access for those slow days).

Unfortunately I work in a cinema, and while they're moderately flexible hours it's an incredibly mind numbingly easy/boring job. Call me crazy but I'm glad of any opportunity to use a few brain cells now and then, and at the moment neither my college course or my job is especially challenging. Also bad is that I'm currently doing 12 hour days in work. I just wanna do something a bit meaningful...is that such a crime?? :P

currently working on my PhD in analytical chemistry. I am employed by the university as assistant which puts me in secondary school and government employee, I suppose...

Somebody mentioned a lack of manual labor . . . I'll take that spot I guess. Service tech for apatment community. Also working on a degree in forensics - 4 classes left. I am a complete nerd I just happen to do manual labor too. Balance, I guess

@ Kace,

That's cool! My wife is working on a degree in Forensics.

I just found out this morning that our company will be closing down the call cener in December. {sigh} Well, that will be 3 call centers at which I have worked that shut down.
So I will probably be going to apply @ retail stores(they are the most flexible about working around school)like Home Depot or Lowes. I worked @ Lowes about 4 years ago(& lost over 100 pounds in the process)so hopefully they'll hire me back...

In polytechnic now studying for a diploma in business IT. I bet that sounds nerdier than anything you can come up with :p .

You'd feel much better about your job if you'd just steal from your employer a little more... their stealing from you, even the score a little bit and add some excitement to your life in the process.
;)

I would have liked to have included more jobs but there is a 20 option limit(which is just as well as I probably could have included sub-categories of sub-categories ;)...of course adding criminal was probably a mistake as who would NOT want to be a criminal? ;p And apparently we do have some prowling the site...

I can't see how adding criminals would have been a mistake... there are such things as people earning their keep in warious ways other then legal, sitting at home playing civ3 all day and all nigth whenever given a spare minute... just like you...
One can't just pretend that people doesn't exist.

Me i'm just "in-between jobs".

Mr. Blonde: What school?

Kinda strange that there so many chemists.....

Well, since I'm a lawyer by trade, I guess I could put down "criminal" and many people would agree! I guess the next closest would be government?

Yeah, that relieves the boredom a bit, but the problem with working in a cinema is that there's not that much of value to steal :P I got a load of movie posters out of it the other day, and I'm this close to getting a RE2 poster...ah, Milla, you shall be mounted on my wall before long.

Besides, it's just a part time job. I get a shedload of money doing video editing on the side, but not enough to live off at the moment. Soon though, I think. Hopefully some photography or some nice digital image manipulation jobs soon, too. Now that is fun; even when its boring footage ^_^

Radio news and sports caster, but I have gone down to part time (wife's an automotive engneer) also a hockey statisitican for my son's travel team and a baseball coach as well as a part time stay home dad..
