Vote for Sid Meier's Civilization I and II (MGE & Test of Time) to be added to GoG

Ah yes, I'm aware of the Call to Power 1 problem and have campaigned elsewhere for it, I just don't do it here. However yes I'd best include that when I share your post around. CTP1 is likely in limbo due to the lawsuit it caused of the use of the Civilization name resulting in Activision dropping it from CTP2 which is on GoG & Steam with no issues. So for CTP1 to be sold again GoG or the rights holder Activision would need to change all the logos and titles I guess.

Can confirm this is indeed the old gog wishlist with a new coat of paint (I already voted for civ 1 and 2 long ago it seems!)

They really need to write a bit of code when you submit which pops up a bunch of similar search results and says something along the lines of "are you sure your vote isn't covered by one of these entries?" It doesn't even have to be clever, just enough to make someone think for a second before they click. Would probably put a stop to quite a few duplicate entries.

I'd like gog to offer complete packages where possible but I can see why they wouldn't want the support burden. Like Civ 3 should really have vanilla and ptw executables plus all bonus content from the various iterations. But that's a manual process, whereas just having 'civ 3 complete' published as is, is alot easier.

Noticed the CEO of Take2 (Strauss Zelnick) and COO of 2K (Phil Dixon) have twitter accounts so I tweeted them about the Civ1&2 problem and suggested making a deal with GoG. They probably won't see them or care, especially Zelnick, as his profile is just filled to the brink with endless hate comments and death threats from angry gamers so I very much doubt he's reading all that vitriol.
