I want to start a custom game, with 18 civs, unrestricted. What would be the most challenging combo of leaders and civs? So, for example, Boudica/Romans would be one of the combos...

I was thinking of running against all the aggressive and the imperialist leaders. However, some of the most annoying leaders, Like Isabella, have neither trait. What are good combos here? I'm looking for especially hard match ups for a noble game.

I would pick leaders according to personalities first, then traits. A pretty crazy game would be one with

8. Isabella

10. Catherine
11. Genghis Khan
12. Tokugawa
13. Napoleon
14. Stalin

I'm not so sure I like Tokugawa up there, since he doesn't do much in most games. Though I think Victoria would be really good in his place. The question is now, what civs to pair with each leader.

Julius Caesar is far more aggressive than Augustus. And why not Gilgamesh instead of Joao? Then you'd have a real stack of doom.

I hope that list wasn't in order of Aggression. You should also chech Aggressive AI . Now that would be a brawl!
